Swing Dance! Friday, November 7, from 7:30–10:30 PM
St. Thomas is turning up the energy with our 3rd Swing Dance Event! The incredible Swing Easy Big Band will keep the floor moving with timeless hits from the roaring ’20s through the groovin’ ’90s. Don’t miss this chance to dance, laugh, and celebrate an unforgettable night of music and fun! Tickets are $20. Please contact the office for more information.
Speaker Series: TD Series Roadshow – Security Awareness for Everyone
You are invited to a free Speaker Series on Identity Theft, Frauds, and Scams on Friday, November 14th at 7:00 PM at St. Thomas Church.
This community event, sponsored by TD Bank, will provide practical tips and insights on how to protect yourself and your loved ones from identity theft and financial fraud. Admission is free, but registration is requested—please click to register.
Women’s Breakfast
Ladies, join us for a wonderful morning of food, fellowship, and faith at our Women’s Breakfast on Saturday, November 15th at 9:30 AM here at St. Thomas Anglican Church.

Bible Study
Beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. in the Cloister, we will gather each week around the gospel story for the coming Sunday. This will be a time to listen, learn, and grow together in faith. You are warmly welcome to join us either in person or on Zoom. (The weekly readings are printed on the inside front cover of the bulletin.)
Take-A-Bag, Fill-A-Bag Easter Food Drive
As we continue our journey through the Easter Season, we are inviting you to participate in the practice of sharing what we have with those in need through donations to our Easter Take-A-Bag, Fill-A-Bag Food Drive. Reusable bags (donated by Freshco) are available in the Gathering Space. Items collected will be donated to the Deacon’s Cupboard Food Bank at All Saints’ Church in Whitby.

Our office is closed on most statutory holidays, including: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

Mabel’s Labels Fundraiser
We have a new ongoing fundraiser with Mabel’s Labels. They provide customs for clothing, school supplies, etc. Select “St Thomas’ Brooklin” before you make your purchase and 20% will be donated back towards the church. You can shop here.
Altar Flower Dedications
If you would like to dedicate flowers in memory or thanksgiving of loved ones, envelopes labelled as Altar Flowers can be found in the Gathering Space of the church. Please complete the dedication and enclose $60. Once completed, the envelopes can be placed in the offering plate or dropped off at the office.
Volunteers Wanted!
As we continue to re-boot ministries, there are several volunteer opportunities for which we’re looking for parishioners to become involved:
Sides-people & greeters
Hosting coffee hour
Chancel guild (setting up for Sunday worship)
Readers & intercessors
Singing in the choir
And many others!
