Our office is closed on most statutory holidays, including: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

Mabel’s Labels Fundraiser
We have a new ongoing fundraiser with Mabel’s Labels. They provide customs for clothing, school supplies, etc. Select “St Thomas’ Brooklin” before you make your purchase and20% will be donated back towards the church. You can shop here.
Altar Flower Dedications
Once a month, on the last Sunday of the month, our altar is adorned with beautiful bouquets of flowers. This is funded through monthly dedications. There are four dedication spots available each month, and the dedications will be printed in the service bulletin for the entire month. The cost is $30 per dedication. If you’d like to reserve a month, please fill out a flower dedication envelope in the gathering space, include $30 for each month requested and place on the offertory tray or give to a Warden. A list of available and reserved months will be posted on the community bulletin board in the cloister. If you have any questions, please speak with Laura Murray.
Volunteers Wanted!
As we continue to re-boot ministries, there are several volunteer opportunities for which we’re looking for parishioners to become involved:
Sides-people & greeters
Hosting coffee hour
Chancel guild (setting up for Sunday worship)
Readers & intercessors
Singing in the choir
And many others!
Please phone or email the office if you’d like to get involved in one of the above roles. If there’s another area you’d like to become involved, you can contact the office and Fr. Douglas will follow up with you.
Youth Murder Mystery Dinner Night
Calling all youth ages 11–18!
Join us at St. Thomas Brooklin on Saturday, October 17, from 5:30–8:30 PM for an evening of mystery, teamwork, dinner, and fun! Please RSVP via the sign up sheet in the Gathering Space by October 11. Please include any dietary needs or allergies when registering! For more information, please speak with Tammy.

Indigenous Mapping Ceremony
Join us Oct. 24 for Indigenous Mapping: a meaningful journey of learning and reconciliation. Limited spaces—register early!
Indigenous Mapping Ceremony – Saturday, October 24
Join us from 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM for Mapping the Ground We Stand On, an educational experience exploring Indigenous presence and settler arrival on Turtle Island (Canada).
Led by Cheryl Marek, Alongside Hope facilitator, this opportunity invites us to deepen our understanding, reflect on our shared history, and grow in awareness of reconciliation.
🥣 A soup lunch will be provided.
📍 All are welcome to join us in this meaningful time of learning and reflection.
Spaces are limited and there will be advanced coursework to complete so please sign-up early.

Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz, delicious pie & great company! Join us Nov. 22 at 4 PM. Tickets just $10!
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of toe-tapping jazz and delicious pie! Enjoy live music performed by the talented O’Neill CVI Jazz Band while treating yourself to a tasty slice of pie and a drink.
